St Nicolas and Santa Claus

St Nicolas came to visit our neighborhood, and Julien got to see Santa Claus at his school.

Indian Summer

It's been so nice this autumn (70 degrees today!) We finally made it to Signal de Bougy for a picnic.

We celebrated Julien's birthday with crêpes and cake!

Comptoir 2014

We went to the comptoir in Lausanne (kind of like a home and garden show).  It was a nice day, got to see lots of animals and eat a raclette!

Fête du Bois 2104

Lots of rain for the Fête du Bois this year, most kids lost their costumes during the parade because they disintegrated! But I think they kids had a good time.

The pools have been open for 2 weeks, but this is the first weekend the weather has been nice enough to go!

more playground

We've been going to the playground a lot lately...and we had the inauguration for the playground.  With free drinks and a bbq after! We also went to the "Flon Plage" a bar they put up in the middle of the city, complete with sand!

Easter

We had some fun with eggs, then got to eat lots of chocolate!

New Park

The built a new park at the end of our street and we go at least once a week now. Nice to finally have stuff for the kids to play on, and it's in the middle of the neighborhood so we always see other kids that we know.

Carnaval 2014

Another year, another "winter man" was burned to the ground! Lots of kids in costumes, the kids had a great time!

Football school

Vincent started football (soccer) today. And he loved it. Didn't get any pictures with him and the ball though, he was on the other side of the field. Maybe next time! I'll be there every Wednesday until June.

50 degrees...in February!

So we went to the park!

Julien and I made banana bread
